Dedicated to the memory of Norman Raven

This site is a tribute to the life of Norman Raven. He was a greatly-loved husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother and friend. His infectiously-warm smile, incredibly kind nature, and witty sense of humour made him loved and respected by all those who had the pleasure of meeting him. The world became a better place with him in it, and his memory will always live on through those that loved him.

Funeral Service for Norman Raven

The funeral service will be held at South Essex Crematorium, Corbets Tey, Upminster on Monday 30th December 2024 at 1:40 pm. A wake will follow the service. If you would like to attend, please let the family know.

Family flowers only please. If you would like to make a donation in memory of Norman, you can do so for St Luke's Hospice in Basildon. St Luke's provided much-needed support to Norman and his wife, Joy, and looked after him through their hospital-at-home care. Their work in the community is invaluable, and we are certain that Norman would want to give something back to them after all their kindness. A donation box will also be available in the chapel during the funeral service.
